OARC Legislative Day at the Statehouse
OARC is hosting a Legislative Day on March 7, 2007. From 12:30 to 4:30 a Roundtable Discussion will be held, convening statewide government officials and regional councils. The afternoon session will involve breakout sessions led by directors from the Strickland-Fisher Cabinet and will focus on issues of transportation, development, environmental quality, energy, agriculture, natural resources and local government taxation.
Immediately following the Roundtable, a Legislative Reception will be held from 5 p.m. to 8 p.m. This is a great opportunity to discuss legislative issues with your local representatives and senators. The Legislative Reception is co-sponsored by the Mid-Ohio Regional Planning Commission, Ohio Public Transportation Association, Ohio Valley Regional Development Commission, Ohio Mid-Eastern Governments Association, and Buckeye Hills-Hocking Valley Regional Development District.
