TMACOG is seeking a detail-oriented Data Analyst to help transform data into meaningful insights that support regional planning initiatives. This is an early career opportunity which will provide the potential to learn new skills.
Salary and Job Title:
Salary and job title will be determined based on experience and education. The following title and starting salary range will be considered:
Job Title: Data Analyst
Salary Range: $40,000 – $60,000
Responsibilities:
Collect and organize data from various sources, including fieldwork.
Perform quality assurance and control on datasets.
Assist in processing and analyzing GIS, travel demand, water quality, and economic data.
Support planning initiatives with accurate and insightful data analysis.
Collaborate with team members to ensure data integrity and usability.
Qualifications:Excellent organizational and time management skills.
Meticulous attention to detail.
Solid understanding of data management principles.
Proven experience with data analysis (strongly preferred).
TransCAD, ArcGIS Pro, and/or Cube experience beneficial.
Bachelor’s degree in computer science, data science, statistics, geography, urban or regional planning, public administration, or a related field.
1–3 years of related experience.

TMACOG observes 12 holidays
TMACOG offers two (2) personal days
Sick leave accrues each pay period with a maximum of twelve (12) days per year. Sick leave carries forward each calendar year.

Medical, dental, vision, and prescription coverage. Potential for contributions to a Health Savings Account (if eligible).
Retirement:
Membership in the Ohio Public Employee’s Retirement System (“OPERS”) is required for all public employees. TMACOG contributes 14% towards the pension contribution. TMACOG offers the Ohio Deferred Compensation Program, which is a great supplemental opportunity for retirement savings.
